Storage and Winter Weather - Lawn Equipment and Outdoor Furniture
It is a good idea to store away items that are not in use, including seasonal items like grills and boats that can otherwise be damaged by snow and ice. Weather can damage items normally stored outside but storing items in a unit or better yet, a climate-controlled unit is an extra step to prevent destruction. However, when storing things like lawn equipment make sure to empty the gas tank to prevent leaks and cracks during freezing temperatures.• Make sure to cover and check up on vehicles being stored outside to prevent a dead battery and flat tires
